This product realizes the security solutions for the documents and operating system through the following ways: 1. Frozen partitions: This part is used to freeze some areas of partitions. When one of the partitions is set to be frozen mode, all the new operations you've done to the related field in this partition is temporal. Once the computer is shut off, all the information will get recovered. Therefore, you can prevent the attack of hackers, viruses, vicious damage and causal file lose efficiently by the way of setting the operation system in frozen mode. 2. Open directories: This function is relative to the frozen partition. There are some directories in the frozen partitions (such as my document and desktop) need to be used frequently, so they should be able to be rewritten and saved. Hence we can set them as open directories, which can be rewritten, and saved, which will not influence your operation habit. Icebox can automatically set some frequent used directories to open mode. You can use the function only when you want to manually change some special folders from frozen mode to open mode.
